User testing cluster focuses on conducting a research experiment to find out the extent people are able to learn Team HART's haptic language. Starting from research on the theoretical application, to designing an experiment in which the technology is applied to potential users of the sleeve, this cluster is trying to validate the technology and discover the limitations of the sleeve.
Data from several sub-questions will be analyzed to see where people struggle, which phonemes get mixed up the most, and how long it takes to learn the language. The experiment consists of 3 sessions of 45 minutes. The end goal of the cluster is to publish a paper which can showcase the viability of team HART’s haptic language and its endless possibilities.
